Summit County embraces 'The Dog Days of Summer' with adoption special

We're officially in the "Dog Days of Summer," and Summit County is embracing it by offering adoption specials.

Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro said that Summit County Animal Control will be lowering adoption fees to $28.

The special will run the entire month of July.

All dogs are microchipped, fully vetted and ready to be taken home.
